Samuel L. Combs III, M.D. Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery Dr. Samuel L. Combs III has been practicing general orthopedic surgery in Panama City since 1975. Dr. Combs earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University in 1964. He was then awarded his medical degree from the University of Kentucky School of Medicine in 1968 (Dean's Award). |
| He completed his orthopedic residency at Charlotte Memorial Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1975. Dr. Combs practices general orthopedics and sub-specializes in total hip and knee replacements. Dr. Combs holds the distinction of performing the first total hip, shoulder, knee, and ankle replacements in Panama City, Florida.
